The Ritter von Kempski Privathotels have developed a comprehensive and tested hygiene, infrastructure and behavior concept. With the developed strategy we are the leader in the German hotel and catering industry - for sure!

From Sunday, April 3, 2022, the following applies: All guests can arrive without conditions.

External gastronomy guests are also welcome again!


BEFORE ARRIVAL What rules should be observed before arrival?

At the Naturresort Schindelbruch it is possible for all guests to stay. The 3G rule applies. Children up to the age of 6 are exempt.

Please arrive symptom-free and

  • fully vaccinated (The complete protection status is to be proven upon arrival by means of QR code as a printout or via app).


  • recovered with proof of recovery


  • with a negative PoC test less than 24h old (free of charge by test certificate from pharmacy or test center. Alternatively, a layman Covid19 antigen rapid test can be performed on site for a nominal fee of 10€. Mandatory re-testing every 48h is free of charge).


TESTING DURING YOUR STAY Do I have to test myself regularly for Covid-19 during my stay?

Re-testing using a lay antigen test every 48 hours is mandatory for guests who are not fully protected, but is free of charge on site.

If flu symptoms occur or if you are a contact person, a PCR test is mandatory (available at the hotel). Cost 89 € per test, with same-day result.

What happens in case of a positive test? If you are infected with the Corona virus, you must be isolated by law. If desired, we can have the result verified by another PCR test at your local pharmacy (cost 89 €/test).

In case of a positive result, we will help to organize a safe return journey as soon as possible.

All services not used will be charged, also in case of an arrangement, Cancellation free of charge.


EMPLOYEES What rules are employees subject to? Approximately 90% of our employees are fully vaccinated or recovered. All employees who are not fully protected perform an antigen layman test every 48 h and a professional pharmacy test once a week. In addition, wearing an FFP2 mask is mandatory for all employees.


PUBLIC AREAS Is there a general mask requirement in the hotel?

In the public areas in the hotel there is - as usual - the obligation to wear a medical mask. Exception: in the restaurants at the table, in the spa area on the lounger or in the sauna.

Children up to the age of 6 are exempt from the obligation to wear a mask.

We ask for your understanding that adults are not allowed to stay if they are exempt from the mask requirement.

Also for the time of 1:1 application in the spa, the wearing of a mask is necessary for mutual protection.

What additional measures do you take in the public areas? Our most important rooms are equipped with over 60 highly effective air purification devices (Hepa-14 filters and UV-C disinfection). They guarantee a sterility of more than 99% in the air (Fraunhofer Institute tested).


ROOM CLEANING What additional hygiene measures do you take in the rooms? As far as room cleaning (daily as well as final cleaning) is concerned, the ladies and gentlemen work with mouth-nose masks - clean and disinfect surfaces even more intensively.

You do not want room cleaning? Simply cancel the room cleaning for a specific day or for your entire stay via our room tablet.


WELLNESS AND FITNESS Which areas in the spa are open? We are bubbling the massage jets in the pool and performing infusions in the saunas again! All areas of our spa are available subject to applicable clearance regulations.

What spa & beauty treatments are offered? Enjoy exclusive me-time during a massage or cosmetic treatment. A short shower before the treatment directly in the application room is mandatory.

For the time of the application, we request that you wear a mask for mutual protection.

Can I use the wellness area after I have checked out? As the changing areas are not available due to the distance regulations, the use of the wellness area is only possible in combination with the use of the room. Accordingly, our wellness area cannot be used after your check out.



Are there buffets in the restaurant? In the evening we serve our Schindelbruch half-board or dinner buffet according to the chef's choice. Also in the morning we offer our varied breakfast buffet for a perfect start to the day.

Are external guests also allowed to dine in the Schindelbruch restaurants? Once again, external catering guests are also very welcome. We look forward to seeing you!
