True culinary delights await you in our restaurant in the Harz Mountains. Our kitchen crew loves to surprise you with new culinary delights time and time again. Our chefs go on a journey of discovery with their guests, letting their curiosity guide them and using carefully selected products, most of which come from regional producers. For example, fresh herbs are harvested in the Schindelbruch garden and the red deer for the first-class dishes at our organic restaurant in the Harz Mountains comes from our own hunt in the forests around Stolberg.
Perhaps the two most important ingredients cannot be bought: Enthusiasm and authenticity. Guests can sense that we put our heart and soul into the cooking and service in our restaurant in Stolberg Harz. We are not concerned with exaggerated etiquette, because we are convinced that top cuisine can and should be fun.
Our sommelière is on hand to help you choose the right wines. In the Schindelbruch wine cellar you will find well-tempered wine cabinets for all our favourite wines, including familiar classics from all over the world, but also many regional wines of outstanding quality.
Behind the scenes of our Schindelbruch restaurant in the Harz Mountains is a gourmet manufactory that reinterprets culinary traditions. Our aim is to serve our guests heavenly culinary delights. Or let's put it a little more earthly: from the varied breakfast buffet to small snacks in between to the 4-course Schindelbruch menu in the evening, we want to put a smile on your face with every bite.

It's no secret that we select our wines with particular care - after all, we want to inspire you with the best enjoyment in all price categories. If you would like to take a closer look at the 130 wines on our list, we recommend a short tour of our wine shop, which is located between the bar and the first-class restaurant in the Harz Mountains.
There are organic wines as well as vegan offerings and with the Alfons Hormuth winery from the Palatinate, we even have a completely climate-neutral winegrower in our programme! By the way: If you would like to find out more or are interested in a tasting, simply make an appointment with our sommelier inside the vinotheque.
