The collection consists of various specially designed wall installations, following the Latin called "ars muralis": the art on the wall. This term can refer to wall paintings, decorations, frescoes and other decorative elements. Here at Naturresort Schindelbruch, it stands for the visual art of interior design that combines tradition and modernity in a unique way.
On works measuring almost two square meters, guests encounter the figures of Kaendler's "Menage der Tiere," a conceptual borrowing from the time of August the Strong, Elector of Saxony in the 18th century. These figures - as well as large sculptures by other artists of the MEISSEN manufactory - are transferred to a surface abstracted by a few brushstrokes, consisting of architecturally combined porcelain elements in the colors white, sepia, platinum and gold.
A table and tableware series based on the MEISSEN service "Cosmopolitan" and "Vitruv" was developed as a separate design, which is used exclusively in the gourmet restaurant "Silberstreif". The design convinces with a straightforward, clear, puristic language of form and brings a creative as well as artisanal sophistication to the table in its details. For probably the most beautiful form of enjoyment.
A separate hotel store with exclusive MEISSEN offers has been developed for guests - as the first MEISSEN brand partner in Saxony-Anhalt. At the same time, the first "Advent Weeks" of the MEISSEN Manufactory will be established in December 2023 as a new offer and sales format in Central Germany.
