The history of the Schindelbruch in the Harz Mountains - a journey through time

The Princely Hunting Lodge, built in 1928, laid the foundation stone for today's Naturresort & Spa Schindelbruch. In the 1950s, the house served as a GDR company holiday home before it was repositioned as the "Harzhotel im Schindelbruch" in the 1990s.

After the takeover in 2003, an era of change began, characterised by innovation and a strong focus on sustainability. As early as 2008, the hotel set an example with its vision of ecological responsibility: Sustainability by conviction became the guiding principle.
