Behind the scenes of our Schindelbruch restaurant in the Harz Mountains lies a gourmet manufactory that reinterprets culinary traditions. Our aim is to serve our guests heavenly culinary delights. Or let's put it a little more earthly: from the varied breakfast buffet to small snacks in between to the 4-course Schindelbruch menu in the evening, we want to put a smile on your face with every bite.

For the true romantics, we recommend our 5-course Vis-à-Vis menu, accompanied by a selection of wines.
Our restaurant is a place for indulgence and special moments. We therefore ask that you dress smartly for dinner. Bathrobes, swimwear, flip-flops and very casual leisure or sportswear are not in keeping with the ambience of our hotel.

Fancy another sparkling drink? Then pop into our Federgeist bar in the evening. This cosy bar, with its adjoining fireplace longue, invites you to spend a few relaxing hours enjoying some special drinks. Our bar team will be delighted to welcome you with a selection of speciality drinks. It’s the perfect way to round off your day’s holiday in the Harz Mountains.

It's no secret that we select our wines with particular care - after all, we want to inspire you with the best enjoyment in all price categories. If you would like to take a closer look at the 130 wines on our list, we recommend a short tour of our wine shop, which is located between the bar and the first-class restaurant in the Harz Mountains.
There are organic wines as well as vegan offerings and with the Alfons Hormuth winery from the Palatinate, we even have a completely climate-neutral winegrower in our programme! By the way: If you would like to find out more or are interested in a tasting, simply make an appointment with our sommelier inside the vinotheque.

We are happy to offer you vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or lactose-free alternatives. Please inform us about this when you make your booking. We will be happy to check any additional allergies or food intolerances on an individual basis and inform you in advance whether this is possible. Nut allergies of any kind cannot be catered for, as traces of nuts can be found in too many foods.
