Behind the scenes of our Schindelbruch restaurant in the Harz Mountains lies a gourmet manufactory that reinterprets culinary traditions. Our aim is to serve our guests heavenly culinary delights. Or let's put it a little more earthly: from the varied breakfast buffet to small snacks in between to the 4-course Schindelbruch menu in the evening, we want to put a smile on your face with every bite.

Our new bistro is open
daily from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm. During these hours, we serve coffee and cake, drinks and ice cream. Please refer to the relevant menus. Dogs are very welcome here.
The Spa Bistro is open
daily from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, and tea and wellness water are available.
Between 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm, our snack buffet is available, featuring light snacks, soup and salads. During these hours, we are
also happy to serve you a variety of ice creams. Please see the ice cream menu for our selection.
The Hotelgarten

It's no secret that we select our wines with particular care - after all, we want to inspire you with the best enjoyment in all price categories. If you would like to take a closer look at the 130 wines on our list, we recommend a short tour of our wine shop, which is located between the bar and the first-class restaurant in the Harz Mountains.
There are organic wines as well as vegan offerings and with the Alfons Hormuth winery from the Palatinate, we even have a completely climate-neutral winegrower in our programme! By the way: If you would like to find out more or are interested in a tasting, simply make an appointment with our sommelier inside the vinotheque.
Set amidst the hotel’s lush grounds, a special highlight of Schindelbruch cuisine awaits you: the hunting lodge “Holzeule”. This historic half-timbered house shines with a fresh new coat of paint and combines a rustic atmosphere with modern culinary delights. In the Loop, right next to the Holzeule, the new kiosk with its BBQ station invites you to enjoy relaxed moments of indulgence in the open air. Flowing seamlessly into the space, our ‘Kokon’ – a stylish lounge area – offers a place to linger, enjoy yourself and socialise – surrounded by the natural beauty of the hotel park.

We are happy to offer you vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or lactose-free alternatives. Please inform us about this when you make your booking. We will be happy to check any additional allergies or food intolerances on an individual basis and inform you in advance whether this is possible. Nut allergies of any kind cannot be catered for, as traces of nuts can be found in too many foods.
