In the midst of nature, in the heart of the Harz Mountains, we invite you to pause, take a deep breath and return to yourself. Our retreats combine the power of the four elements from traditional European medicine - fire, air, water and earth - and also those from TCM with the element of wood - with the seasons - and give you space for peace, clarity and new energy.
Our winter retreat on the element of water is now followed by our spring retreat "In the rhythm of spring", which is all about the element of wood.
From 31 May to 3 June 2026, we will take you on a special journey through the powerful season of spring at Naturresort & Spa Schindelbruch - a time of new beginnings, renewal and growth.
In traditional Chinese medicine, the element of wood symbolises the energy of spring: movement, development, creativity and the unfolding of new possibilities. Look forward to inspiring days in harmony with nature - with mindful movement, impulses for inner clarity, soothing relaxation and moments of silence in the forest.
Look forward to a harmonious programme of meditation, yoga, Qi Gong, singing bowl journeys, mindful moments in the forest, individual spa time and optional coaching. Each day has a special focus - from arriving and breathing deeply in nature, to inner clarification and new direction, to growth, new beginnings and fresh vitality.

Pasquale has been working at Naturresort & Spa Schindelbruch for almost two years as head of the fitness area. With his decades of experience in various forms of movement and energy work as well as his empathetic and emphatic manner, he creates an atmosphere in which guests with very different previous experiences feel seen, picked up and well accompanied.
Lászlo has been enriching our spa and wellness area for 8 years with his multifaceted knowledge, which he has acquired in over 30 years of self-taught yoga, meditation and singing bowls, among other things. As a massage therapist and Reiki master, he also specialises in detox and wellness, whereby his singing bowl journeys are far more than just wellness: The different vibrations of the bowls gently penetrate every cell of the body and bring about deep muscle relaxation, restoring the body to its harmonious balance. Mentally, the sounds lead to a state of deep relaxation. By reaching a state of deep relaxation, the activity of the sympathetic nervous system (stress reaction) is reduced, while the parasympathetic nervous system (relaxation) is activated. This lowers stress hormone levels and therefore also improves sleep.
Claudia has been guiding people at Naturresort & Spa Schindelbruch for over 12 years on their path to greater inner peace, strength and awareness. Her work is characterised by the deep conviction that true strength comes from mindfulness and connection with oneself.
As a trained physiotherapist, she combines in-depth knowledge of the human body with the gentle, deeply effective wisdom of Qi Gong. Through her continuous further training - including as a Shen Do Shiatsu practitioner and Reiki master - Claudia has developed a holistic approach that harmonises body, mind and energy.
With sensitivity and warmth of heart, Claudia invites you to pause, rediscover your own uniqueness and find a deep physical and emotional balance. Her work creates spaces for relaxation and reflection.
Melanie is a qualified yoga teacher and taught yoga and meditation courses in a retreat centre abroad for many years, including for the yoga tour operator "Neue Wege". There she constantly enriched her knowledge, taught everything from soft to power yoga and is very good at adapting to the different needs of each individual. Her specialities are Hatha Vinyasa Flow Yoga, active moving meditations and the 5-rhythms dance according to Gabriele Roth. However, she mainly works in-house in online marketing.
