Less of the world. More of me.

Surrounded by nature, in the heart of the Harz Mountains, we invite you to pause, take a deep breath and reconnect with yourself. Our retreats combine the power of the four elements from Traditional European Medicine – fire, air, water and earth – along with the element of wood from Traditional Chinese Medicine – with the changing seasons – offering you space for tranquillity, clarity and renewed energy.

Following our late-summer retreat focusing on the element of Fire, this autumn we turn our attention to the element of Metal – a time for retreat, clarity and conscious letting go.

From 8 to 11 November 2026, we will accompany you at the Naturresort & Spa Schindelbruch on a special journey through the powerful yet tranquil season of autumn – a time for pause, reflection and consciously focusing on what truly matters.

In traditional Chinese medicine, the element of Metal represents clarity, breath, structure and the ability to let go of the old. It invites us to pause, take a deep breath and make space for what truly matters. Look forward to inspiring days filled with soothing movement, invigorating stimulation for body and soul, mindful breathing sessions, relaxing spa experiences and moments of tranquillity and inner reflection.

Sessions can take place indoors or outdoors on our new yoga platform, depending on the weather.

RETREAT “Clarity, Breath & Letting Go”

from 8. to 11. November 2026

Eine Frau steht auf einem weiten Feld, ihre Hand liegt auf dem Herz und sie hat die Augen geschlossen und atmet tief durch.

Look forward to a carefully curated programme comprising meditation, a singing bowl journey, yoga, mindful breathing, breathwork, qigong, a soothing spa experience and optional personal coaching. Each day has a specific focus – from gently settling in and finding peace, through to clarity and reflecting on what truly matters, right up to conscious letting go, inner expansiveness and the integration of new insights.

The special atmosphere of these autumn retreat days creates space to pause, take a deep breath and reflect on what truly matters. The clear, withdrawn energy of the Metal element helps you to let go of the old, embrace new expanses and move forward with greater clarity and inner alignment. In this way, you can consciously experience the power of the breath, find peace and return to your everyday life feeling renewed – sustained by the focusing and clarifying energy of the Metal element.

Empathetic, attentive and experienced.

For the past 8 years, Lászlo has been enriching our spa and wellness area with his wide-ranging knowledge, which he has acquired through self-study over more than 30 years in areas including yoga, meditation and singing bowls. As a massage therapist and Reiki master, he also specialises in detox and wellness, although his singing bowl sessions are far more than just wellness: the different vibrations of the bowls gently penetrate every cell in the body, inducing deep muscle relaxation and restoring the body to its harmonious balance. Mentally, the sounds guide you into a state of deep relaxation. By achieving deep states of relaxation, the activity of the sympathetic nervous system (stress response) is reduced, whilst the parasympathetic nervous system (recovery) is activated. This lowers stress hormone levels and thus also improves sleep.

Claudia has been guiding people at the Schindelbruch Nature Resort & Spa for over 12 years on their journey towards greater inner peace, strength and awareness. Her work is shaped by a deep conviction that true strength arises from mindfulness and a sense of connection with oneself.
As a qualified physiotherapist, she combines in-depth knowledge of the human body with the gentle, profoundly effective wisdom of Qi Gong. Through her ongoing professional development – including training as a Shen-Do-Shiatsu practitioner and Reiki master – Claudia has developed a holistic approach that brings body, mind and energy into harmony.
With sensitivity and warmth, Claudia invites you to pause, rediscover your own uniqueness and find a deep sense of physical and emotional balance. Her work creates space for relaxation and reflection.

Melanie is a qualified yoga teacher and spent many years leading yoga and meditation courses at a retreat centre abroad, including for the yoga tour operator “Neue Wege”. There, she continually expanded her knowledge, teaching everything from gentle to power yoga, and she is very good at adapting to the different needs of each individual. Her specialities include Hatha-Vinyasa Flow Yoga, active moving meditations and the 5 Rhythms dance method developed by Gabriele Roth. However, she mainly works in-house in online marketing.
