Surrounded by nature, in the heart of the Harz Mountains, we invite you to pause, take a deep breath and reconnect with yourself. Our retreats combine the power of the four elements from Traditional European Medicine – fire, air, water and earth – along with the element of wood from Traditional Chinese Medicine – linked to the seasons – to give you space for tranquillity, clarity and renewed energy.
The element of Fire – warmth of the heart, joie de vivre and inner radiance
Following our spring retreat dedicated to the element of Wood, we now present our late summer retreat, which is entirely centred on the element of Fire.
From 6 to 9 September 2026, we will accompany you at the Naturresort & Spa Schindelbruch on a special journey through the warm, radiant season of late summer – a time of opening the heart, joie de vivre and vibrant energy.
In traditional Chinese medicine, the element of Fire symbolises warmth, enthusiasm, connection and radiance. Look forward to inspiring days filled with soothing exercise, invigorating inspiration for heart and soul, relaxing spa moments and moments full of lightness and joy.
The sessions take place both indoors and outdoors on our new yoga platform.
Look forward to a carefully curated programme comprising meditation, a singing bowl journey, mindful movement, qigong, a soothing spa experience and optional coaching. Each day has a specific focus – from gently settling in and opening your heart, through to a zest for life and inner radiance, right through to transformation, gratitude and conscious integration.
The special atmosphere of these retreat days creates space to feel warmth, lightness and a new vitality. This allows you to nourish your inner fire, let go of the old and return to everyday life with a new radiance – carried by the powerful energy of the element of fire.

Pasquale has been working at the Naturresort & Spa Schindelbruch as head of the fitness centre for almost two years. With his decades of experience in various forms of movement and energy work, combined with his sensitive and empathetic manner, he creates an atmosphere in which guests with a wide range of prior experience feel understood, welcomed and well looked after.
For the past 8 years, Lászlo has been enriching our spa and wellness area with his wide-ranging knowledge, which he has acquired through self-study over more than 30 years in areas including yoga, meditation and singing bowls. As a massage therapist and Reiki master, he also specialises in detox and wellness, although his singing bowl sessions offer far more than just wellness: the different vibrations of the bowls gently penetrate every cell in the body, inducing deep muscle relaxation and restoring the body to its harmonious balance. Mentally, the sounds guide you into a state of deep relaxation. By achieving deep states of relaxation, the activity of the sympathetic nervous system (stress response) is reduced, whilst the parasympathetic nervous system (recovery) is activated. This lowers stress hormone levels and thus also improves sleep.
Claudia has been guiding people at the Schindelbruch Nature Resort & Spa for over 12 years on their journey towards greater inner peace, strength and awareness. Her work is characterised by a deep conviction that true strength arises from mindfulness and a sense of connection with oneself.
As a qualified physiotherapist, she combines in-depth knowledge of the human body with the gentle, deeply effective principles of Qi Gong. Through her ongoing professional development – including training as a Shen-Do-Shiatsu practitioner and Reiki master – Claudia has developed a holistic approach that brings body, mind and energy into harmony.
With sensitivity and warmth, Claudia invites you to pause, rediscover your own uniqueness and find a deep sense of physical and emotional balance. Her work creates space for relaxation and reflection.
Melanie is a qualified yoga teacher and spent many years leading yoga and meditation courses at a retreat centre abroad, including for the yoga tour operator “Neue Wege”. There, she continually expanded her knowledge, teaching everything from gentle to power yoga, and she is very good at adapting to the different needs of each individual. Her specialities include Hatha-Vinyasa Flow yoga, active moving meditations and the 5 Rhythms dance method developed by Gabriele Roth. However, she mainly works in-house in online marketing.
